Mexican Lasagna

In large pan, saute:
1 pound ground beef
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin

Add:
1 can diced green chilies
2 cans (12 oz) mexican stewed tomatoes
(I like to add whatever else I have on hand: onions, corn, olives, etc.)

Simmer for 10 minutes.

In a 9 x 13 pan, layer 6 corn tortillas (flour works too), 1/2 can of refried beans, 1/2 of the meat mixture, and shredded cheese. Repeat the layers one more time: tortillas, beans, meat mixture, and cheese. Bake at 375° F for 25 minutes....and enjoy!
