Mexicali Rice

Ingredients:
1 – 1.5 lbs ground beef, browned
14 oz beef broth (2 boullion cubes)
1 package taco seasoning
1 small can tomato sauce
2 cups instant rice (not cooked)

Directions:
1. Brown and drain beef.
2. Stir in broth, taco packet, tomato sauce
3. Simmer 5 minutes
4. Remove from heat and stir in rice
5. Let sit 5 minutes and serve

Notes:
Serve with tortilla chips, salsa, sour cream, onions, lettuce, etc. When I buy ground beef I buy extra, brown it and freeze it into one pound packets that way I can pull it out at the last minute, defrost in the microwave and it's ready to add to this dish. Delicious, so easy and very quick. Non-spicy so kids love it.
